Mental Health

At some stage everyone experiences feelings of sadness, stress, anger and low mood.  If however these feelings persist for weeks at a time and affect your ability to work, sleep and carry on every day activities, it is time to make an appointment with your GP for support as your first port of call.

The practice can offer a range of supports and help, including understanding and diagnosing your issues, offering support and advice, prescribing and advising on medication only where appropriate, linking you with local support services or referring you to a counsellor, psychologist or specialist services as required.

We know it can be challenging to reach out for help, but our team is here to listen and provide you with the support you need. Phone: (01) 8416000
