Originally we opened in 2005 as Bracken Clinic located in the heart of Balbriggan Town. In 2017 we moved the Balbriggan Primary Care Centre and opened as Bracken Family Practice.
We aim to provide expert GP health care to our patients across the full range of general practice and family medicine services, in a friendly and caring environment.
We are a team of 5 GPs, 3 Practice Nurses and a team of experience administrators.
At present we are currently not taking on any new patients at present. Please enquire with us in Sept 2025.

Bracken Family Practice was originally established in 2005 in Balbriggan as the Bracken Clinic for patients in the surrounding area.
In 2017 we moved to a bright, modern, purpose-built premises within the new Balbriggan Primary Care Centre and opened as the Bracken Family Practice. This features three spacious patient waiting areas, ten contemporary clinical rooms, a double-sized treatment room, children’s play area, disabled access and facilities.
We offer GP services for all your family’s general health needs, alongside an acute medical clinic for same-day GP consultations, and speciality medical services such as cryotherapy, minor surgery, audiology, dermatology, counselling and dietetics.
Our patients’ health and wellbeing is always our first priority. We genuinely care about your concerns and take the time to listen and support in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
